MONITORY OF TRANSPLANTED FIELDS AT ADANSI ATAASE
A field monitoring exercise was conducted at Adansi Ataase in the Adansi South District by officers from the Agriculture Department of the District Assembly.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the condition and progress of transplanted crops within the community and to provide technical guidance to farmers on effective field management practices. The team inspected farm plots, focusing on crop establishment, spacing, weed control, and overall plant health.
Farmers were advised to maintain regular field maintenance practices, including timely weeding, proper application of fertilizers, and close monitoring for pests and diseases to ensure improved crop performance and productivity.
The exercise also provided an opportunity for farmers to interact with agricultural officers and receive technical support aimed at addressing challenges affecting crop growth.
The Agriculture Department reaffirmed its commitment to continuous monitoring and extension services to promote sustainable agriculture and improved livelihoods in Adansi Ataase and surrounding communities.
