In continuation of its anti-bushfire campaign, the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Directorate of the Adansi South District Assembly convened a specialized educational and sensitization meeting with local farmers at Aworoso.
The engagement forms part of the district’s broader Operation Stop the Fire Disaster (#OSFiD) strategy to mitigate seasonal bushfires, protect agricultural yields, and safeguard rural livelihoods from farm-related fire outbreaks.

During the community meeting, the NADMO team—led by the District Director and Zonal Directors—engaged local farmers on common agricultural practices that inadvertently cause uncontrolled bushfires:
