ADANSI SOUTH DISTRICT ASSEMBLY INSPECTS CONSTRUCTION OF 2-UNIT KG BLOCK AT SUBRISO (NEAR COMPLETION)

SUBRISO, GHANA — The Adansi South District Assembly has conducted a project monitoring and inspection tour to assess progress on the construction of a 1-No. 2-Unit Kindergarten (KG) Block with ancillary facilities at Subriso.

This infrastructure initiative highlights the Assembly’s targeted focus on Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD), ensuring that young learners in the district begin their educational journey in safe, age-appropriate, and well-equipped environments.

Project Scope & Deliverables

  • Facility Specifications: A dedicated 2-unit kindergarten classroom block featuring an office, resting/store room, age-appropriate toilet and washroom facilities, and playing spaces tailored for early childhood education.

  • Current Status: Works are steadily progressing according to structural guidelines and technical specifications laid out by the Assembly’s Works Department.

  • Impact on Early Education: Designed to lay a strong foundation for early learning, encourage higher school enrollment among young children in Subriso, and provide relief to parents and teachers.

Strengthening Early Childhood Education

Assembly officials during the visit emphasized that investing in foundational education is essential for long-term academic success in the district. Providing dedicated facilities for kindergarten pupils ensures they transition smoothly into primary education within a modern and stimulating learning environment.
