In a vibrant showcase of Ghanaian tradition, heritage, and youth talent, Edubiase D/A Primary School, in collaboration with the District Culture Unit of the Adansi South District Assembly, celebrated its annual Cultural Day.
The colorful event brought together pupils, teaching staff, traditional leaders, Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) executives, and officials from the District Education Directorate to promote cultural awareness, foster national pride, and preserve indigenous heritage among young learners.

The school compound was transformed into a festival ground as pupils and teachers dressed in rich traditional regalia representing various ethnic groups across Ghana, with a special emphasis on Akan/Adansi customs and traditions:

Traditional Music and Dance Displays: The school’s cultural troupe delivered energetic performances of traditional dances including Adowa, Kete, and Bawa, accompanied by live drumming on traditional instruments such as the Atumpan, Fontomfrom, and Dawuro.

Drama and Folklore Storytelling: Pupils staged brief educational dramas and Ananse folklore performances, illustrating traditional moral values, respect for elders, and community unity.

Exhibition of Local Food and Artifacts: A dedicated exhibition section featured traditional Ghanaian dishes (Fufu, Ampesi, Banku, Mpotompoto) and cultural artifacts, teaching pupils the nutritional, social, and historical values of local foods.
