VERIFICATION EXERCISE FOR 2025 GLRSSMP BENEFICIARIES

The Adansi South District Agriculture Department has conducted a verification exercise for 2025 beneficiaries under the Ghana Landscape Restoration and Small-Scale Mining Project (GLRSSMP) within selected communities in the district.

The exercise aimed at confirming and validating the eligibility of beneficiaries to ensure that support under the project reaches the right individuals and groups involved in land restoration and sustainable agricultural practices.

Field officers visited beneficiary communities to verify key information, including farm locations, land ownership status, participation in project activities, and compliance with project guidelines. This process also helped to update records for effective planning and implementation.

During the exercise, beneficiaries were sensitized on the objectives of the GLRSSMP, which focuses on land restoration, improved soil management, and sustainable livelihood enhancement for affected communities.

The verification exercise also provided an opportunity for farmers to raise concerns and receive clarification on project activities and support mechanisms.

The Adansi South District Agriculture Department remains committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective implementation of the GLRSSMP to promote environmental sustainability and improved livelihoods.
