On Tuesday, 20TH July, 2021 a farmer by the name Wisdom Awlesi aged 25years and a resident of Edwinase in the Praso zone met his untimely demise by drowning when his canoe collided with a timber log on the Pra River thereby capsizing his canoe.
His body was recovered by a search team in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) on Thursday, 22ND July, 2021.
The body has been buried upon release by the Police to the family.
