CIVIC EDUCATION ON DUTIES OF CITIZENS – NCCE, ADANSI SOUTH DISTRICT DIRECTORATE

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Adansi South District Directorate, continued its civic education outreach programme with an engagement at Saint Andrew’s Senior High School.

The District Director, Mr. Charles Gyimah, served as the resource person for the session and educated students on the duties and responsibilities of citizens. The programme formed part of efforts to promote responsible citizenship and strengthen civic awareness among young people.

The session focused on key civic duties such as obeying laws, participating in community development, protecting public property, promoting peace, and contributing to national development. Students were also encouraged to be active and responsible citizens who uphold democratic values and support good governance.

An interactive discussion followed the presentation, allowing students to ask questions and share their views on civic responsibilities and nation-building.

The NCCE Adansi South Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to continuous civic education in schools to nurture informed, responsible, and active citizens within the district.
