ADANSI SOUTH DISTRICT ASSEMBLY: ISD DIRECTOR MR. JUSTICE OPOKU AND NCCE PARTNER TO MENTOR BRONIKROM PUPILS ON GOOD CITIZENSHIP

In a collaborative effort to instill strong patriotic values in the youth, the Adansi South District Assembly’s Information Services Department (ISD), led by the District Director, Mr. Justice Opoku, joined forces with the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) for an interactive face-to-face session with the pupils of Bronikrom.

The outreach, organized as part of the annual Citizenship Week Activities, provided a direct platform for mentoring the children on what it means to be a good citizen. Mr. Justice Opoku emphasized that the future of the district and the nation relies heavily on the character of its young people today.

During the lively engagement, the team educated the pupils on key civic responsibilities, including maintaining environmental cleanliness, respecting national symbols, showing discipline in school, and staying honest. By breaking down complex civic duties into practical, everyday habits, the ISD and NCCE team encouraged the pupils to see themselves as active partners in building a better Ghana.

Key Takeaway: “Good citizenship is practiced in the small things we do daily—from picking up litter to respecting our peers. When we teach these values to our children, we build a solid foundation for the future of Adansi South.” — Mr. Justice Opoku, ISD Director.
