ADANSI SOUTH DISTRICT, GHANA — The Adansi South District Assembly has carried out an official project monitoring tour to assess progress on the ongoing drilling and mechanization of 6-No. boreholes across key communities in the district.
This infrastructure project forms part of the Assembly’s strategic Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) drive aimed at upgrading basic hand-pump systems into high-capacity mechanized water schemes to ensure continuous, clean, and reliable water distribution.

Facility Specifications: Drilling of high-yield boreholes equipped with electric/solar-powered submersible pumps, elevated storage tanks, standpipes, and distribution networks for easy public access.

Current Status: Works are actively ongoing, with drilling, yield testing, and structural mounting of water storage systems underway across the designated site locations.
