Adansi South District Assembly Inspects Near-Complete 6-Unit Classroom Block at Kojo Yentumi (NEAR COMPLETION)

KOJO YENTUMI, GHANA — The Adansi South District Assembly has conducted an official site inspection of the ongoing construction of a 1-No. 6-Unit Classroom Block equipped with ancillary facilities at Kojo Yentumi. The project, aimed at expanding access to quality basic education across the district, is now approaching full completion.

The monitoring delegation evaluated the structural integrity, safety standards, and overall progress of the project to ensure adherence to technical specifications and project deadlines.

Key Project Highlights

  • Facility Scope: A 6-unit modern classroom block complete with headteacher’s office, staff common room, store room, and sanitation/ancillary facilities.

  • Project Status: Near completion, with final external finishing, painting, and site clearance currently underway.

  • Community Impact: Designed to eliminate multi-grade teaching, reduce congestion in existing classrooms, and provide a safe, conducive learning environment for school children in Kojo Yentumi and surrounding communities.

Speaking during the inspection, assembly officials reiterated the Local Government’s firm commitment to prioritizing educational infrastructure in rural communities. The timely completion of this facility will ensure local pupils transition into the upcoming academic term in modern, fully equipped classrooms.
