INSPECTION OF FERTILIZERS AND PESTICIDES PRIOR TO DISTRIBUTION – ADANSI SOUTH DISTRICT ASSEMBLY
The Agriculture Department of the Adansi South District Assembly conducted an inspection exercise to verify fertilizers and pesticides ahead of their distribution to farmers within the district.
The exercise aimed to ensure that all inputs meet the required quality standards and are safe, effective, and suitable for use. Officers carefully checked product labeling, expiry dates, packaging integrity, and overall condition of the agro-inputs to prevent the distribution of substandard or expired products.
The inspection also forms part of measures to promote transparency and accountability in the distribution process, ensuring that farmers receive the right inputs to support improved agricultural productivity.
The Agriculture Department reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding farmer interests and enhancing crop production through the provision of quality agricultural inputs and continuous monitoring of distribution activities across the district.
