ADANSI SOUTH DIRECTORATE OF THE NATIONAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT ORGANISATION (NADMO), IN COLLABORATION WITH CODAPEC, HAS DISTRIBUTED FARM INPUTS TO SUPPORT AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE DISTRICT

DISTRIBUTION OF FERTILIZERS AND PESTICIDES TO FARMERS

The Adansi South Directorate of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), in collaboration with CODAPEC, has distributed farm inputs to support agricultural activities within the district.

A total of Eight Thousand (8,000) fertilizers and over Five Thousand (5,000) pesticides were distributed to selected farmers and cocoa mass spraying gangs to help combat crop pests and improve crop yield.

Prior to the distribution, officials carried out thorough inspection and checking of the fertilizers and pesticides to ensure quality, safety, and suitability for use. This step was necessary to guarantee that beneficiaries received effective inputs for their farming activities.

The initiative forms part of efforts to support farmers, enhance food security, and boost agricultural productivity in the district.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation to NADMO and its partners for the timely intervention, which is expected to significantly improve farm output and livelihoods.
