ADANSI SOUTH DISTRICT BY OFFICERS FROM THE AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT OF THE DISTRICT ASSEMBLY AS PART OF ROUTINE AGRICULTURAL MONITORING AND EXTENSION SERVICE DELIVERY

FIELD VISIT TO KOTWEA – ADANSI SOUTH DISTRICT

 

A field visit was carried out at Kotwea in the Adansi South District by officers from the Agriculture Department of the District Assembly as part of routine agricultural monitoring and extension service delivery.

The purpose of the visit was to assess ongoing farming activities in the community, engage with farmers, and provide technical guidance aimed at improving agricultural productivity. The team inspected farmlands and discussed key issues affecting crop production, including soil fertility management, pest and disease control, and climate-related challenges.

Farmers were advised to adopt improved and sustainable farming practices to enhance yields and ensure food security. The interaction also provided an opportunity for farmers to share their concerns and receive practical solutions from agricultural officers.

The Agriculture Department reaffirmed its commitment to supporting farming communities such as Kotwea through regular field visits, extension services, and capacity-building initiatives to promote sustainable agriculture and rural development in the Adansi South District.
