CIVIC EDUCATION ON GLORY FM – NCCE, ADANSI SOUTH DISTRICT DIRECTORATE
The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Adansi South District Directorate, undertook a public sensitization programme on Glory FM as part of its continuous civic education outreach.
The programme focused on educating the citizenry on the duties and functions of the various arms of government, including the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary. It also provided general constitutional education to enhance public understanding of Ghana’s governance system.
Listeners were taken through the roles and responsibilities of each arm of government and how they contribute to national development and the maintenance of law and order. The session further emphasized the importance of citizens’ rights and responsibilities in promoting democracy, accountability, and good governance.
The interactive radio discussion allowed members of the public to gain clearer insight into constitutional provisions and encouraged active civic participation.
The NCCE Adansi South District Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to using both traditional and media platforms to promote civic awareness and strengthen constitutional education within the district.
