NEW EDUBIASE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CELEBRATES AMENYINASE FESTIVAL

The New Edubiase Traditional Council, as a yearly activity, celebrated the 2021 Amenyinase Festival in New Edubiase. The week long event was marked by the prohibition of noise making, to enable the Nananom of the traditional council to consult their ancestors for direction as a spiritual norm. It was marked by the carrying of the King (Nana Oguahyia Oforipanin Birikoran) and the Queen mother (Nana Akua Dwum II) of the great Edubiaseman from the new Chief Palace, through the principal streets of Edubiase through to the Old Chief Palace and back to the current Chief Palace. Rich cultural display was witnessed. The event was graced by all walks of people from Edubiase and other towns and countries. Among the people who grace the occasion were the Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah, the DCE for Adansi South District Assembly, Hon. Francis k. Ankomah, the DCE for Akuofrom, Hon. Maurice Jonas Woode, DCE for Adansi North, Hon. Kwaku Kusi etc.
