The National Youth Authority (NYA), in partnership with National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), sensitized schools in Adansi South on the role of the child in upholding Ghana’s Democracy. This was as part of commemorating Ghana’s 30 years Democracy. Using the Rwanda Genocide as an example, Mr Ibrahim Adam, district director for NYA expressed the need for the children to live in harmony and respect each other’s cultural differences. Mr Charles Gyimah, District Director for NCCE highlighted the right and responsibilities of school children in upholding our democracy.
