The District Security council (DISEC) led by the District Chief Executive, having heard of galamsey activities in the District decided to visit Kwaku Adu Krom community. The team realized that illegal mining activities were taking place. The galamseyers upon seeing the taskforce, run away. The taskforce therefore, burnt down their machines, tools and equipments they use in the illegal mining activities.
